Gambling professionals wonder whether online gaming will be legalized.

The Wire Act of 1961 has been looked into and changes made to it by the Department of Justice.  In spite of that it would have been far easier for the states to have got down their own rules. This would have enabled them to turn more profitable and see more dollars coming their way.

The thing is that this is not a court ruling but only an opinion cited by the Department of Justice.  This needs to be turned into a legal legislature and not left like this. Congress needs to look into this and take it forward so that it becomes a rule and is for more clearly.

There are several companies that are linked with resorts and gaming that have come together and formed a group so as to benefit majorly when the legislation is turned into a rule later on. This will enable them to generate for themselves tons of money that will rake in millions of dollars.

The main beneficiaries are bound to be MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment as they are renowned names in the gaming world. At the same time, there are other strategic players as well who might want to form a partnership with these two major players. This will allow them to get a percentage of the gaming pie no matter how small sometimes as small as 10%. This will be far more than what they would have otherwise been able to get.
